Workers’ Earnings Grow Faster in Buffalo Than in a Majority of U.S. Markets

Income growth in the Buffalo area is outpacing a majority of the nation’s major metropolitan areas, according to new federal statistics.Average weekly earnings for private-sector workers in the two-county Buffalo market have risen 12.82 percent during the past five years.
